How to use it

Open a terminal and run npx ccusage@latest daily --json. Copy everything it prints and paste it into the box above. Your card appears straight away. Add a name or handle if you want one on the card, pick a theme, then download the PNG or copy the stats as text to share. Not ready yet? If you only have the plain table from npx ccusage@latest daily, paste that instead. We do our best to read it, but table layouts differ between versions, so JSON is the safer choice.

How it works

ccusage is a popular open-source tool that reads the usage logs Claude Code writes on your own computer. This page reads the text you paste, adds up the days and draws the card on a canvas in your browser. There is no upload and no server involved.

The cost shown is an API-equivalent figure: what the tokens would cost at pay-as-you-go prices. If you are on a subscription plan, it is not what you were billed. A day counts as active when it has any usage. The longest streak is the longest run of active days in a row. Your favourite model is the one with the highest cost across your days, or the one used on the most days when per-model costs are missing. FAQ

Is my usage data uploaded anywhere?

No. Everything runs in your browser. The text you paste is never sent to a server, and it is gone when you close or refresh the page.

Why does it say it could not read my output?

Most often the paste was cut off or came from a different ccusage command. Run npx ccusage@latest daily --json and paste the whole result. Monthly or session reports do not have the per-day detail this card needs.

Why is the cost different from my bill?

ccusage prices your tokens at API rates. Subscription plans charge a flat monthly fee instead, so the number is best read as "what this usage is worth". To compare it with plan prices, try our Claude Plan Calculator.

Can I share the card?

Yes. Download the PNG and post it anywhere, or copy the text summary. The card shows only the stats you see on it, plus the name you type, if any.
